This time of year there all kinds of spirits. Krampus, the yule cat and even being called the Christmas witch. On the winter solstice i plan on doing an offering to all these spirits. Even though they have there own day. Any one else do the same ?

What can I decorate my Yule log with that, when it burns, won't be toxic or smell nasty or accelerate the flames?

I do yule for sure the rituals and tradations . However my family likes Christmas and I celebrate with them . What's every one though on this ?
My new house has a fireplace, so I'll actually be able to burn a yule log! It should be oak. Do you think I can find that at Lowe's?
