I do yule for sure the rituals and tradations . However my family likes Christmas and I celebrate with them . What's every one though on this ?

My family is not religious, like at all, but celebrate christmas (they say it's for the kids but I know they like it too) I have a large family so christmas is one of the few times out of the year that we all can meet together and spend some time with each other and I enjoy christmas for that reason ( the presents are a bonus lol)
However, I do celebrate Yule too, this is for me, I do this celebration for much deeper spiritual reasosns also well as honouring the seasons, nature and the earth
I'm the same. My family was not religious (well, the Jewish half was a bit) but we celebrated Christmas and it's been my favorite time of year since long before I was a witch. The celebration was never about Christ in my family (besides, most archaeologists believe Jesus was born in spring). It's a celebration of family, friendship, a goodwill. You can feel love and generosity in the air.
My favorite example of the true spirit of Christmas is the famous WWI Christmas Armistice. In the muddy trenches on Christmas morning, someone on one side started singing a carol. The rest of their troop joined, then, surprisingly, the other side joined in. They all came out and made a temporary truce and shared drinks and played soccer. It was beautiful.
