Duke Marbas
This Demonic Deity both my mentor and I have developed a good relationship with. Ed Morrow works with him for his clients who require glamour magick or to help clients alleviate certain illnesses (mainly infections and professional medical treatment along side this is always recommended).
Where as my self I've worked with him for glamour before a date (the guy turned out to be a total jerk as well 🙄).
I've also worked with him to help sick family members and I'll admit I've made 1 or 2 unpleasant human beings quite sick again working with Marbas.
Marbas can also be referred to as Barbas (comes from the Latin Barbas, beard) and his position on the Goettic line up is 5th as described in most major texts.
Marbas holds the rank of Duke and is also referred to as "the Great President of Hell"
He stand at the head of 36 Legions of demons and is said to have numerous abilities including the ability to change people into "other shapes"
Appearance: That of a magnificent, great lion who can shapshift into a man if asked to do so by the magician.
Sensory and Visualisation Triggers: A tree full of white blossom growing on a hill side.
The sound of a lot of people walking on stones.
The smell of animal fur.
A big round full yellow moon in a deep dark blue sky.
So let's have a look at what we may need to work with Duke Marbas for:
As I mentioned above Duke Marbas is able to cast glamour magick on people to make then seem more desirable to those around them.
This magick can make you appear to be something you aren't as you can alter it's effect with your imagination to appear; more attractive, braver, stronger, more intelligent the lost goes on. However be aware that this will not change how you see your self or what you see in the mirror with your own eyes so for some manifestations large quantities of confidence and belief will be required.
Marbas is able to help cure infections too weather these are physical or metaphysical. In today's modern society though where medicine is advanced enough to be able to cure most infections it's recommended that you perform this right along side professional medical care as a means to augment the treatment, not replace it.
As a perfect example of as above so below Duke Marbas is also able to inflict infections on your enemies as a mostly less than lethal way of handling out spiritual bitch slaps.
Be warned though if the target is weak and/or already sick then they may die and that's on you to live with.
The last thing I know Duke Marbas to be very talented at is helping you discover answers.
He can uncover hidden truths. It's not quite divination it's sort of a demonic psychic knowing he has regarding the actions and intentions of others. He also has the added ability of foresight so when he applies then both together he can tell you who's doing what and how it will effect you.
