Duke Agares
In most major Goetic grimoires of note such as the: Livre Des Esperitz (in which he is referred to as Agarat), the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, the world famous Lesser key is Solomon and the Dictionnaore Infernal Argares is described as a Duke under the power of the east.
In a couple of the above mentioned books he is listed as "The Second Spirit of State".
The texts on him also indicate that he is at the head of 31 legions of demons although in the book Livre Des Esperitz he's listed as being the commander of 36 legions of demons.
In another text titles The Book of the Office of Spirits referrers to him as Agaros and places his status as "Second under Oriens.
In the Grand Grimoire it mentions that Agares serves Lucifuge Rofocale and is said to be able to assist with summoning spirits to help guard money and items of value.
Appearance: That of an old man riding a crocodile with a hawk pirched on his fist.
However in the Book of the Office of the Spirits he's described in a similar way just without the hawk.
It's worth noting that in the Grimoire of Pope Honorius he has neither the crocodile or the hawk which leads me to believe he can appear in at least a few different forms.
Visualisation/Sensory Assocation: A black leafless tree in front of a red rising sun,
The sound of lustful moans and orgasmic screams,
The smell of Roses,
Red lighting streaking across a distant dark sky.
So let's have a look at why we would work with Agares.
Duke Agares can help you with learning, understanding and knowledge retention and is said to make this process as easy as possible regardless of what you're studying.
He's a very useful Demon for Number of reasons but one of his most valuable qualities especially for me personally is his ability to make you see the long game, the result of your work and to keep the reasons for your efforts fresh in your mind where they can motivate you. However be warned, of your work isn't good for your life, lacks meaning or will be ultimately unsuccessful you will see this too as he will not lie to you or sugar coat things. If this happens do not be offended although it's hard to accept he's protecting you from a much worse fall later on down the line.
You can work banefully with Agares to ruin you enemies reputation. This makes them always appear idiotic and self indulgent. It's worth mentioning tho that this work is effective but quite brief and would class more as a jynx than a curse or hex.
You can work with Duke Agares to make people return to you. Although this is intended for run aways it's been previously used with success to bring lover back also.
Again one of his most useful qualities is his ability to inspire decision, action and indeed decisive action. This ability is great for when your future, your plans or whatever you need rests in the hands of others. He can get people to make decisions in your favour, act on your behalf or do both. For me personally he has been very useful in job interviews as well as minor legal issues.
The last thing he is known to be very good at is weekening the perception of an enemies magick to the world making then appear weak, disempowered and causing all those around then to lose faith in their ability.
I have no direct experience working with him for this intention though.
