  • Feast at Her Table

The time will come, child, when you will stand before your own door,
    and Lilith will be waiting—
    hips like the crescent moon,
smile sharp as the edge of first sin.

You will greet yourself in her gaze, see your hunger reflected back,
    see the wildness you hid
    under borrowed names,
under silences you were told to keep.

Sit here, She will say. Eat.

Feast on the bread of your own making, the wine you pressed from the ache in your chest,
the forbidden fruit you were told would poison you—
    eat it all.
    Eat with both hands.

Now you will remember the stranger they called unworthy— your own self, the one you cast aside
    to please the trembling voices
that feared your feral howl stalking the night.

Give wine to your tongue—let it loosen. Give bread to your body—let it rise.
Give back your heart to your own hands,
    no longer begging for mercy,
    no longer bowing for love.

Take down the lies they bound around your name— the warnings, the shame, the cautionary tales.
    Burn them.
Let the smoke crown you queen.

Peel your own face from the mirror. See the fierce, unsainted glory
    that was always yours.

Sit, daughter of the first defiant. Feast on your life.
    Feast on your power.
Feast at the table of Lilith—
    where no one begs,
    where no one starves,
    where no one kneels.

  • I am happy to say Lilith: The Rising is finally released. Those who preordered—thank you—should get theirs soon. And the print edition is now available too.
Here is a review by our fellow Lilith devotee Kirin Joy I love: “I have had the pleasure of reading this book
    before the release date.
This book captures the journey of having Lilith
in your life. The good, the challenges, the
triumphs. She's not for the faint of heart and
Dennis has been able to convey that in such
eloquent terms here. In all the aspects that
    Lilith embodies; Mother, Redeemer, Seductress,
Liberator. A wonderful tribute to Lilith in a
series of poems or prayers for the Goddess
who is so much to all of us yet never once
diluted or stretched too thin. Each poem is a
    dedication and declaration of love.”

  • Lilith’s Praise

    Oh, my bold one,
    I have watched you.
    Watched you shake the chains,
snap them like dry twigs beneath your feet.
    Watched you raise your head,
even when they told you to lower your gaze.

    I am proud of you.

    For stepping into the fire,
for letting it burn away your fear.
    For choosing yourself
when the world told you to kneel.
    For carving your truth
    into your stone silence.

    It was never easy.
The dark nights, the aching hands,
the weight of a thousand voices
telling you to hush, to soften, to shrink.
    And yet, here you are—
    unapologetic, unyielding,
full of the wildness they tried to break
because it was lacking in them.

    I see you.
I see the strength in your spine,
    the hunger in your soul,
    the knowing in your eyes.

For every time you let go of what caged you,
for every time you held on to what set you free,
for standing when you could have fallen—

    I am proud of you.

    For you are fire.
You are wind and storm and midnight’s howl.
You are the echo of my first defiance.
    You are mine.

And I am so proud of you.
