If it's money I agree with Karen. If it's activity I'd suggest attaching this site's name and link to the bottom of your every other account and post that allows for such an attachment as well as asking various other groups you might be in if advertising the group would be ok. It seems there is always a slump this time of year (end of October through New Years) in most sites and groups with everyone getting involved with family related stuff, particularly if it's a US heavy site. I personally have not been as active in most places due to my MIL passing this time last year. We had a year of recovery because of it. Also without getting into the depths of it, being a disapointing election this fall probably caused a bit of real life uproar and more local activity.
I probably should add I as only offering reasons there for this year in particular that things might be slow. Seems like I'm hearing a lot of social places are shifting or closing due to politics and post covid.
I have posted this elsewhere but I shall repeat it here. I think the only viable option would be to sell the site. It could either be sold outright with the proviso that it remains a pagan only site and that the current owner stays on as a member. This way the current owner can still enjoy the site but without the financial burden and responsibility, and would also recoup some of the expenses incurred while owning this site outright.
Alternatively, the current owner sells 49% shares in this site and retains the remaining 51% shares. That way the current owner still has some control over the content of this site while recouping some of the financial losses incurred through outright ownership.
Unfortunately the only buyer said they want to turn it to a non witch site. Change it's theme. Another option is to find a co owner Not the one who wants to take apart the site.
So, advertise around the other sites you are on (like Facebook) and see if anyone else is interested in buying this site.
Already been done last few years. No one is interested
When negotiations resume you could mention that you are trying to find a buyer for the site. They might know someone who would be interested in buying it.
I am taking that off the table. I am looking for a co owner. Who will help take on the expenses.
