  It's time to go into a nursing home...

  So, Auld Annie eventually decides it's time for her to go into a nursing home.

  As SHE has made the decision the family, reluctantly get her sorted and take her to the one she has chosen as a couple of her old friends are already there.

  The family take her and get her settled then leave hoping she would be well cared for.

  The next morning, the carers bathe her, feed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair, beside her friends, at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden.

  She seems okay, but after a while she slowly starts to tilt sideways in her chair.

  Two attentive carers immediately rush over to catch her and then straighten her up.

  Again, she seems okay, but after a while she slowly starts to tilt over to her other side.

  The carers rush back and once more and bring her back upright.

  This goes on several times that morning.

  Later, the family arrived to see how the auld Annie is adjusting to her new home.

  Her daughter, Betty, asks,

  "So, Ma, how is it here?"

  "Are they treating you alright?"

  Auld Annie smiles and says, "Aye Betty, it’s pretty nice except they won't let me fart!"
